The fabric is 100% combed long-staple cotton at 240 gsm — heavy enough that the gathers hang and hold, where a lightweight cotton collapses into limp vertical lines within a week. Gather ratio and fabric weight are the two variables that separate a ruffled bed skirt that looks intentional from one that looks tired.
