Measuring correctly — the one mistake that causes most returns

Before you order a tailored bed skirt, measure from the floor to the top of the base — not to the top of the mattress. That single mistake accounts for more returned bed skirts than every other cause combined, because a skirt measured to the mattress is three to fourteen inches too long and puddles on the floor. Take that measurement, then choose 15 in. or 18 in. — whichever is closer without going under.
