Four patterns — which one for which room

Stripe (1 cm bar) is the graphic choice — sharp lines that read from across the room. Ticking (3 mm bar) is the quieter option — texture from a distance, pattern up close. Small check (1 cm) is the plainest pattern — reads almost solid at three metres. Buffalo check (5 cm) is the boldest — a farmhouse-style larger pattern.
