Why 380 gsm — weight is what makes the line clean

That weight is not decorative. A heavy bedspread hangs in a straight line from the mattress edge, and the western look depends on that line — the whole aesthetic is about substance. A light cloth in the same pattern stands away at the corners and undoes it.
