Cotton Pillow Cover
$49.99
Cotton pillow cover in 100% combed long-staple cotton at 260 gsm — quality-tested for skin safety — with a hidden YKK zip and matching cotton reverse. Our cotton pillow cover is a real long-staple weave (not the short-staple sheeting cotton this category is stuffed with), so it stays crisp against the face rather than pilling within a month.

Why long-staple cotton matters against skin
A cotton pillow cover touches the face for six to eight hours a night. That is the same test as a bedsheet, and it is the reason short-staple cotton fails in this category. The short fibers end at the surface of the yarn, catch on skin and rise to the top as pills within thirty washes. Long-staple cotton — fibers over 30 mm — twists longer threads with fewer fiber ends at the surface. The cover stays smooth against the face for years.
Yarn-dyed and skin-safe tested
Ours is yarn-dyed rather than surface-printed, so the color is in the fiber and holds through washing. And it is quality-tested against the substances that irritate skin and lungs, which matters more on a pillow cover than on almost any other kind of cushion, because it is in the same room as the sleeper’s face all night.

How to care for your cotton pillow cover
- Machine wash cool or warm on a normal cycle
- Hot-wash (60 °C) safe on the undyed Alabaster and Bone — the temperature that clears allergen and skin flakes properly
- Tumble low
- Zip closed before washing
- Skip fabric softener — dulls yarn-dyed color and increases irritation on skin
Frequently asked questions
Is a cotton pillow cover better than a synthetic one?
For anyone sleeping under it, yes — cotton breathes, wicks moisture and does not build static. Long-staple cotton stays smooth against the face for years rather than pilling within a month.
Are cotton pillow covers hypoallergenic?
Cotton itself is not an irritant, and skin-safety testing means the finish carries no residues that are. That’s the closest to hypoallergenic a natural fiber gets.
Can I hot-wash a cotton pillow cover?
The undyed Alabaster and Bone versions yes — 60 °C rated. Colored versions no — hot wash sets the yarn dye and can lift color.
What size insert for a cotton pillow cover?
One inch larger than the cover — 19 in. insert for 18 in. cover, 21 in. for 20 in., 25 in. for 24 in., 27 in. for 26 in. Euro.
