Once a curtain passes about 100 inches it stops behaving like a shorter one. The panel carries its own weight, and a cloth that hangs perfectly at 84 in. will bow away from the wall in the middle of a 120 in. drop, opening a gap down each side that no amount of adjusting fixes.
